Create your free account in under a minute. You need an email, phone number, a 4-digit PIN and a screen name — this is how you appear on leaderboards.
Head to Competitions to see everything open. Each competition shows the entry fee, prize pot, scoring format, deadline and payout structure upfront — no surprises.
Depending on the competition you will pick a fantasy team within a salary cap budget, predict match outcomes, or select a tournament winner. Knowledge beats luck every time.
Paid competitions require a small entry fee processed securely via Stripe. Free competitions are available too. Once payment is confirmed your entry is live — but you can change your picks any time up until the competition deadline, which is typically the start of the event. After the deadline, picks are locked and revealed to all entrants.
Once the deadline passes, everyone’s picks are revealed. Follow the live leaderboard as scores update throughout the event.
When the competition ends prizes are paid to top finishers. The payout structure is always shown clearly before you enter.
Here’s a real example of how points are earned. Imagine you picked Justin Rose (priced at £12m) in your team. Here’s how his tournament might play out:

ⓘ Points are awarded after each round based on the golfer’s position on the leaderboard at that time. A top 10 finish bonus (+20pts) and winner bonus (+50pts) are awarded after Round 4 only. If a golfer misses the cut, they score 0 for Rounds 3 and 4.

Fantasy Gaffer competitions are skill-based games. Your results are determined by your sporting knowledge, judgement and strategy — not by chance. Whether you are picking a fantasy golf team or predicting match outcomes, the edge comes from knowing your sport better than the next person.
Fantasy Gaffer is designed to be a fun, friendly way for sports fans to test their knowledge against one another. It’s you, your mates, and anyone else who thinks they know their stuff — competing over something you all care about.
While these are skill-based competitions, we believe in common sense. Only enter competitions you are comfortable with, and never spend more than you can afford. The point is to enjoy it.
Every competition shows you the full payout structure before you enter — no hidden fees, no surprises. The prize pot is calculated transparently from entry fees. We take a small percentage to cover payment processing and running costs, and the rest goes to the winners. Always.
